meet my new best friend...

since my 'master cleanse' fast i have been trying to maintain a total raw food diet, mostly liquid at the moment. one of the newest items in my kitchen is this juicer. after buying a rather fancy magimix 'le duo' juicer i found out about these guys and now i need a new home for the magimix, an expensive mistake...

this little beauty, on the other hand, is totally awesome. i juice fruit and greens and am getting more nutrients into me than in any other period in my whole life. its a great new adventure in nutrition and flavours and i cannot recommend it highly enough - everyone (including you) needs one of these babies! it is relentless in its gentle crushing, eeking every bit of goodness out of whatever you feed into it, and, extra bonus, its really easy to clean!

forty days and forty nights...

i can't believe how easy this has all been. so much has changed in my head about food and i have been reading tons and tons of stuff. tomorrow i start a ten day break-fast in the true sense of the word. looking so forward to new flavours and tastes and i'm aiming to eat raw food only for at least the next month. everyone keeps asking when i am going to go "back". truth is, never i hope! lost over 24 kilos of the old me and have everyone amazed and inspired.

a whole new feeding adventure awaits...wow!
