blowin' bubbles...

having dived informally and been through two resort courses all covering the same things, my diving career has been pretty limited, especially for someone who loves the water. so, after promising to do it, talking about it, and then never doing anything about it, intertia is finally overcome. a camping trip to sodwana on the northern natal coast with some friends for the 'heritage day' long weekend was the motivator. they are all experts deluxe as their old man runs a dive camp there.

training starts at sparrow's tomorrow in the aquanzi pool then moves out sunday to miracle waters. and then if i qualify its on to sodwana next weekend.

my long-term diving goal: to lie on my back staring upwards as a hundred or more manta rays fly through the water in front of me: an image from a movie I once saw. just seeing one manta will be pretty cool though and so the mission begins.
